Acute Zone Two or Jones Fractures?
The treatment for zone two fractures is percustaneous screw fixation. This is going to be associated with faster healing and return to sport. Zone three patients are more of the kind of diaphysis fracture of the fifth meta-tarsal. In those patients, the treatment will be to actually open up the fracture site to bring the fracture bone graft into fix with a screw. That will be the answer on the test.
