Is There a Genetic Link to Arthritis?
Hockey was my downfall and I had a bad accident playing hockey. It actually broke my kneecap but what it did do was trigger arthritis. This has played me in my life numerous operations because of it. You often get asked at hospital appointments if you have any family history of the disease. The very fact they ask makes you think well there might be a genetic link here. So the question is increasing as you get older. And starting to think more about where you came from, perhaps genetics susceptibility to something like arthritis was that what was going through your head? Yes.
