The Importance of Human Emotion in AI

A study in New Zealand found that if an AI exhibits forms of human emotion, our behavior changes. We know for one that we like things when they exhibit human like qualities. And what's interesting about AI and where it's going is the conversations we can have now with AI will be very easy. I as a human won't have to make much effort with the AI to get it to think I'm wonderful or ask all sorts of things about me. The fear with a lot of the psychologists I've spoken to on nudge is that we will lean towards these AI to human relationships over human to human relationships because they'll just be easier.
