The lie fundamentally is kind of one of the most egregious things. When he lies at the end, you're just there and it's kind of like, I didn't get angry. There's so much complexity to the whole thing. And in the moment, I was just broken because I was there willing him to just level with her just to say, I saved it because I love you.
