He barely passes his first degree and there's various reasons that, you know, what one sort of contextual note is he's studying alongside commonly sort of 18 year old female undergraduates. You don't get a sense throughout his biography despite his many achievements that he's a kind of particularly clubable person. So yeah, various, he doesn't do well. Perhaps he switched off. And like I said, some people, the biographer speculating might have been, it's like obstacle. But you think about some of the things that you had to contend with. It's mentioned very briefly in the book, but before the war, he befriended some Dutch girl in London. He goes
