The Relationship Between Crying and Pain in Children

In early life, children just when they are hungry for example, they might be actually feeling pain or something like that. There is an actual very strong physical sensation that they haven't interpreted yet as a feeling or a mood. Their intensity of their crying is really linked to the intensity of their discomfort but they have no idea why. What adults like us do is we look at the baby crying and we make a guess. We make a guess and then we try to figure it out.
