Do you have a sense that there's a considerably greater awareness in the public consciousness of the malleability of memory, of false memory? I think both. There is a sense that it's permeated the public consciousness. On the other hand, we recently published a paper that shows that there's still a gap in the thinking of researchers in the field of memory. And i also continue to work on court cases where people are still being accused based on claims of repressed memory. It just isn't true.
