The Importance of Data Protection

There could be almost a counter argument that we have a duty to reveal stuff, because collectively we then have better tech. As long as we have the trade in personal data, that won't be the case. More often than not, personal data gets used to fund services rather than to make those services better. We should use it, but we don't have to trade it afterwards to make money. There are other funding models that are much less toxic for society.
