Sex and Hollywood Movies in the Nineties
The popularity of sexual content has ebbed and flowed over the years since it hit a peak with fatal attraction in 19 87. Rob low's sex tape injected a charge into the culture that was similar to both the porno chiq moment of the early seventies or the just barely past maelstrom of sexual political debate. I think arguably, it was the seed of an idea that would flourish more over the next decade. Video was for reality. Celluloid was for something else. This would extend to realms far beyond sex but what we're talking about here is sex and hollywood movies.
