Pala: A Trick Taker's Guide

Pala was designed by Jeffrey D. Allers and put out by Cambridge Games Factory. In order to smear a primary color, you need to number one be void in that primary color. Number two, have a prime have another primary color in your hand and number three, have a secondary color card of the mix of those two primary. So for example, if someone leads a blue and you're void in blue, you can play a red on top of that blue. And now it's not a blue trick anymore. It's a purple trick, but you have to have another purple card in your hand.
