What Happened to Francisco Medero and Jose Maria Pinos Juarez?

Francisco Medero and Jose Maria Pinos Juarez were picked up in two cars from the National Palace. The motorcade did not go through the front gate of the prison, but a secluded side door. With reporters in earshot, but not eyeshot, gunfire rang out. When the reporters arrived on the scene, they found Medero and Pino's bodies riddled with bullets. Even Henry Lane Wilson was not that naive; he cabled back to Washington about the incident.
