Know Thyself, Is the One That All Philosophers Constantly Refer To

Hem i jaligid: The maxims near the temple of apollo's entrance, know thyself, is the one that all philosophers can state off the top of our heads. In plato's dialogues, for instance, it's there in the phedrus. If you're not hot, it's because that's not your favorite dialogue, right? Lig your hotness is a function of your relationship to this dialogue. I prefer that cassal connection. So it seems that for socrates, knowledge is really founded on self knowledge.
