How to Design and Build Engineered Data in Power Bi

The patterns have not yet been established or best practices on what that would look like. I think fabric has convoluted this whole space of how we design and build engineered data. The direct lake mode does not require the lake house end point so because they're like we're talking synapse right so but it does require you to set up lake house for some structure  I don't want to be able to pull everything in and selectively pick a couple tables that make sense for the data set beyond that. Power BI could still use directory or direct lake when it's using those elements but maybe that's just something that's kind of becoming not after preview rightMaybe that's going to be landed later on
