Coquilin had strayed before, but never with a fairy princess. Fawn was why he had been so distant from Eamer. She would see him when he returned. One year later, Coquilin and Fon turned her to thud nearby. They saw Eamer, standing there next to a knife sticking out of a tree. Tears welling up in her eyes. But now, there was nothing to hide. Now all she had to do was wait.
