"I had a national, you know, one of our national guard tank companies when we're training at Camp Shelby before going over to Iraq. This company has three platoons and one of their platoons went through that tank gunnery," he says. "It just goes to show you how by training to be resilient and training in those skills, even when you're taken out of that particular job in a combat situation for six months."
