The Role of Vadir in Jury Selection
Jury nullification is when one juror decides they're not going to follow the law in a particular case. It's less, I think, about strategy of prosecutors on how to avoid that other than prove your case by such overwhelming evidence. In closing arguments, the law is very clear that it is not proper for a defense counsel to actually ask in closing argument for nullification. That would be struck if an attorney attempted to do that.
