The more and more of you renounce your own surplus to give to them, the more they demand from you. And it's basically what the super ego does is at a moral level,. It's like, not only do I have sex, I also lush myself for even having the thought of super egos. So things like sexuality or eroticism or subjectivity or contemplation or philosophy gets told to wait, come back later. The same sort of austerity just sort of remains entrenched.
