But Musk insists that every change he's made, and charging for blue check marks to amplifying the visibility of his own tweets, has made the platform better. So how is it really going for Twitter? Was it $44 billion while spent? And where to next for the site that, like it or loathe it, is a vital source for global news, political communications and cute pictures of cats.
