virginia's education guide lines said schools should let students use names and gender pronouns that reflect their gender identity, without quote any substantiating evidence. They urged schools to way sharing information about students gender identity with parents on a case by case basis. New policies are subject to a 30 day public comment period, and that will start later this month.
