David Wheeler: The idea that every civilization that became super intelligent pissed off into the black hole or the other dimension is not that plausible. He says it would likely be in the best interests of these superior civilizations to create subentities who don't want to go into the transcendention because they would then be able to keep an eye on the big computers and maintain them. Wheeler: Most water worlds out there might have intelligent life, but no starships. In which case the galaxy is waiting for us to get out there and become the postman.
