The Importance of Communication in Art

I think there's a tendency among people like me who are horrified by the idea that a machine could make art. But on the other hand, my thesis is that central to art is an irreducible human element. And one of its most important aspects is communication between human beings. So do you think it's more likely that we get bored by machines rather than that they will take over?
