Is There a System of Alienation?

In terms of alienation. Means a parting with something almost in the sense of amputation like when the next worker on the assembly line takes the thing away from you and puts the rear end on to what you put the front end on to you say. There's also a sense of estrangement or becoming strange becoming distant. Workers are said to stand in an alien relation to the environment in which they work. The division of labor is said to be alienating because it separates people into rigid categories such as carpenters, plumbers, janitors and brain surgeons developing some potentialities of each while denying his other potentialities thus violating his integral humanity.
