Before I got this 50, 88 console, my desk was always on and I would track through it. But then the problem with the 50 ATAs that has gotten noisy cooling fans in it. So, so I can't have it on and it uses a lot of electricity. It only gets switched on when I'm ready to mix something. With this console it's like headroom is not an issue, you can take it so if something needs to be a bit louder, you can just turn it up or add a lot of EQ. You don't have to back off very often. The only time that I've ever had to kind of watch the levels a bit on the console is
