APOE4s are immune to the learning effect, so they actually don't learn as well. They can retest them in about six months and learning isn't really a factor to consider for them. The FDA is looking at things like mini-mental status and the Montreal Mocha test. These are tests we would use in the emergency room when we wanted to know if someone was psychotic or heavily under the influence of alcohol drugs.
