i started reading wallace after a major depression when i was in my early twenties. It's an incredible book, incredibly intricate characters. I think ale that his dayby a novel, the brim of the system is especially really, really good. No war near as bad as he he made out. Het was just personally ashamed of it, i think. Or not ashamed, but a bit more embarrassed by it.
