The Demisexual Spectrum

Demisexual is kind of lumping into asexuality, something that is quite different. It's like trying to group things as fish because they look similar and they live in a similar environment rather than them being actually sort of phylogenetically related. But I suppose it makes sense for the demisexual to be on the asexual spectrum because your day to day life,. the majority of your life is the asexual experience and then selectively becoming non-asexual.
