Home Schooling Is Hard and Messy and Exhausting and Not Always Fun

After our first few months, the newness had worn off. They were no longer excited about every lesson. I was worrying about doing everything i read other moms were doing. So maybe i went little bit overboard trying to be perfect. And like catchy song lyrics and insurance commercials, my own words flashed in my head: You don't have to be perfect to be awesome.
