Why Do We Need a Hierarchy in Group Co Operation?
Group participation in co operation is essential to the evolution of all sorts of animals that are out there. When group co operation starts to break down, even animals like wolves practise a form of ostracization. And interestingly enough, ostracising other members leads to higher rates of mortality. If you're kicked out of the group because you've been acting up, picking fights, stealing people's foods, or doing whatever wolves do, and you're kickedout, you are less likely to survive on your own.
