The Challenges of the Public Healthcare System in Vietnam

The public system in Vietnam is complex, mixed with hospital and clinics. The public health facilities are organised now into four levels - national province, district and communal level. Many people just go straight to the highest level hospitals where there are more highly skilled doctors,. So that makes major public hospitals at the higher level overcrowding. And overcrowding can lead to long waiting time, complicated administration procedure, unempathetic stuff and even corruption at the higherlevel.
