Joel David Hamkins: I don't see a very direct connection with Lewisian talk of possible worlds. To the extent that ever ready and talk about multiple worlds is coherent, these are worlds which physically interfere with one another, a principle. So there isn't the kind of, you know, in Lewis you tend to think of the possible worlds as totally causally cut off from each other. They just can't be by Lewis's own criterion of what makes a world. You know, I didn't know. No, no, no problem at all. Tim has stuff to say about this too.
