The Paradox of God's Love

God's love is a peculiar type of love which the New Testament authors refer to as agape love. It means that God loves the sinner just as intensely as he hates his sin. The remarkable thing about God's love is that it's extended not toward those who are redeemed, but people who are sinners and have their faces opposed to God.
