The Importance of Membership and Discipline

Aubrey: The Lord's Supper brings us together around the family table and marks us out as God's family, God's people. When we talk about membership and discipline, one thing that we have to recognize is that's kind of a second order theological term basically used to describe what the Bible calls baptism in the Lord's Suppers. So this meal that we're about to partake is as much a family meal in which we are looking at each other as anything else.
