I think a lot of people have underestimated how important education is to making whether it's electrification or autonomy like to developing actual markets on this. We've been so desperate to believe that these technologies can be just sort of squeezed into the box of a car and we can just continue with our same old habits. I think one of the big challenges with EVs is explaining to people like hey this is not just a car in the same sense maybe it makes sense to have an EV for commuting and then you know maybe even rent for road trips if you don't do them that often.
The transition to electric vehicles isn't simply a matter of technology, education and communication are critical aspects of developing new markets for all kinds of mobility. This week Matt Teske of Chargeway joins the show to discuss how his company is solving the communication challenges in EV charging, and share his thoughts on the other challenges in the space.
