We often believe that our body is the holder of our worth, even as children. We have been taught to believe that there are dire consequences for something when they're really aren't. I think we could get back so much more energy, so much more self-love, time and effort to be put towards anything else that might even nourish us instead of the ways that we really stress and unravel ourselves to fit into what we are told our body holds in terms of our worth.
