Do You Know What the Classics Are All About?
Helena Fass: Without an appreciation of history in the classics, you know, one isn't completely educated. The great books r have mostly been written by men that are dead and were mostly white. They speak to us in terms that we can understand, this with problems that are still ours to day. We should stop being so condescending and assume that we are better than these people who are trying to improve the world.
