"It takes humans probably hundreds of thousands of years if we wanted to grow like a new finger or millions of years, right? And yet social media just came out and then augmented reality is coming after that," he says. "So the question is, as the tech is growing, it's like the species again, how wise is that giant organism humanity?" He asks: Who do you want holding an all-powerful magic wand? You wantwise people holding it. What you don't want is it for it to be in the hands of short-sighted adults who are beholden to their own emotions.
