Happy Feet

This is the first scene in the movie where they're introducing a major element. They're introducing non penguin. Right. And then it's off for a long time. So this scene functions to do a few things. One is that it's sort of ever so slightly establishes that fish are scarce. Because the mafia, the mob boss bird is like oh yeah usually I don't eat penguins but there aren't a lot of fish right now. But I just I was like yes. That's the first time they bring it up. It feels like such a throwaway line and not a major plot point which ends up being. Right.
