Is This What Journalism Be?
In an ideal world, everybody would want those absolute ethical values to be maintained by every publication. But in the real world, journalism is always a high wire act, or a tropese act,. Thereis the government, which is nearly always putting pressure on you. There are the individual incentives of journalists themselves. In india, we don't have corporate ownership as much as individual ownership. Owners nearly always want the papers to be seen as their papers. So you have to maintain that.
