The Fed doesn't want bank failures in the news, certainly not large banks where lots of companies have payroll accounts and things like that because you're just undermining confidence. It's tightening credit actually makes their job easier. I mean, how many banks have to fail before they, if at all, change their view and, you know, do something to help?
