The Micro Rivalry of Power Is Not Broken in Evolution
There is a symmetry of power between the fox and the rabbit. if it wasn't for the foxes the rabbits would eat themselves to extinction so we say oh this actually very interesting at one-on-one interactions there's a rivalrous dynamic but it leads to a macro symbiosis. If the power symmetry is broken micro-rival re-leads to macro-rival only if there's a power symmetry.
