Young people have become very politicized in a way that i think is historically, relatively unparalleled. In the early 19 eighties, thatcher won the youth vote. There was a pole in 19 68 that showed young people were more likely to support the vinam war than their senior citizens. The kinds of things that were said openly, taken for granted in the 19 sixties would be unspeakable today.
