You Will Not Change Birthdays on January 1st

In 2022, President Yun Sakyol was elected with a promise to do away with Korean age reckoning. Traditional ages will no longer be used in any official capacity as of next June. To the government, your age will not change on January 1st. Your age will change on the anniversary of your birth.
