i was listening to the episode on egregors while also reading rousseau. For rousseau, the general will of those who come together in social contract is the true sovereign of the state. Yet this principle governs much democratic political theory. In rejecting monarchy, have western demo democracies really been creating and serving agregores? I do think that democracy is a problem in the sense that it's often hit's the best way to say it. It can often be just secretly guided by something else. And so what happens is, in the democracy, that influence will separate itself until thereill be different influences.
