Endo Carditus Surgery
It's important to get cardio thoracic surgery, to consult as soon as you make the diagnosis of endo carditus. I think there's kind of four man buckets of people that generally would recommend surgery. The first is like a mechanical complication that really antibiotics don't fix. If your valve has a hole in it and is, you know, flapping in the wind, antibiotics don't sew that back together and make it work again. Same thing for a pus that is invading the conduction system of the heart leading to third degree heart block. And then i think the other piece is also more in the gray area, which is sort of the potential for kind of catastrophic complications if
