The Importance of Emotional Words in Art
I'm really conscious when I see your work, that I'm stretching my body into all sorts of positions that I might not ordinarily, even with other kinds of sculpture. And you make it extra difficult to pin down when you engage with the space, don't you? You want to encourage a kind of genuinely three-dimensional experience and perhaps even more, you know? Yes, and I think if somebody said to me, and what's that about, it's complicated to answer that. But there are emotive words that I would associate with what I do rather than it being a pinned down subject.
