Uppington Castle and the Earthworks
Uppington castle was built either around the same time as the horse or in the couple centuries after the horse depending on how you look at the dating so it has a connection. When they built it they had an actual timber sort of monumental walkway along the whole top of the ramparts which now is obviously not visible but back then it would have really glowed white. Probably it was a place of gathering which is of key importance if you if you think about what we just talked about that dramatic cosmological idea connected to the horse just below us.
