How My Father Reacted When I Stood Up to Him
"I was always extremely super proud of my mother, like super proud. I didn't care that when I came back from school, that would be around 1.30 p.m. in the afternoon, that my food would be on the table," she says. "Although there was no one overseeing me, I would diligently do my homework, study, read a book because she was big on reading" Her father is now bedridden but even last year he was here to talk with her about his behavior.
