The Tradeoffs of Liquids
Liquid is a custodial sidechain and you're trusting the federation not to rug you. It's exactly like Bitcoin, but it's one minute block time with confidential transaction. So why don't people use it though? Because Bitcoin is so cheap to use on chain. Why would you make the tradeoffs if you don't have to? I think it's a network effect thing, exchanges has been reluctant to add it.
