Trump Used Food to Appeal to His Voters

Trump used food in a very shrewd way. He liked to say that he operated from his gut, literally and metaphorically. If you see somebody eating the same kind of food that you like, it triggers something in our primal brain. It almost goes back to our prehistory where food was a matter of life and death on a daily basis. So much like Reagan and his jelly beans, Trump was saying, you like the same type of food that I do, therefore, vote for me.
