Is Photo ID Really Necessary?

The government is introducing a requirement for voters to prove their identity at the polling station. They say it will stamp out potential vote or fraud to take place, and give electors confidence that their vote is theirs and theirs alone. But Labour's Chris Bryant says he doesn't think this is very reasonable. He argues there could be other ways of proving your identity which would cost nothing - such as by stealing someone else's poling card.
